HOW TO GROW
Sowing: Direct sow in late fall, pressing into the surface of the soil since this plant needs light to germinate. For spring planting, mix the old field goldenrod seeds with moist sand and store in the refrigerator for 60 days before planting. Keep the soil lightly moist until germination.
Growing: Water seedlings occasionally until they become established; mature plants grow well in drought and poor soil, as well as tolerating rocky soil or gravel. This plant will self-seed, though it does not usually become aggressive.
Harvesting: For cut flowers, choose stems with flowers that have just opened. Strip the foliage that will fall below the water level, and place in water immediately.
Seed Saving: As the blooming fades, the plumes will turn from yellow to white as they develop the seed. The Solidago Nemoralis seed can easily fly away on the wind because of its white fluff, and should be gathered as soon as possible. Strip the seed from the stems, and remove as much plant material as possible. Store the old field goldenrod seed in a cool, dry place.

Fast Delivery
Fast delivery, I look forward to planting in the spring. My bees should be happy next fall with pollen from my goldenrod plants.
Awesome products!
Will plant golden rod seeds in fall. Looking forward to them germinating next year. What I like most about Everwilde's products is the foil packaging that's guaranteed to keep seeds fresh as well as the in-depth planting and growing information that's right on the seed packets. Most seed packets just provide generic information but Everwilde provides information specific to the plant/ flowers. Also you get a lot of seeds in one packet. I used to purchase seeds from this company before they switched packaging glad I came back. Will continue to purchase Everwilde seeds!!! Thank you for a quality product.
Love Your Natives!
In building a true native pollinator supporting garden resources are limited to be sure, I am so thrilled to have discovered Everwild as a source, their wide selection of seed offerings is invaluable. My particular selections require cold stratification so I will hold them until later in the year to sow and pray for germination. But next season WOW! will I be proud to have these to fortify the nectar and forage sources for my native pollinators and friends! Thank you folks at Everwilde for this incredible service!
