HOW TO GROW
Sowing: Prepare the soil with compost or organic matter; Chinese cabbage prefers full sun or partial shade, and grow best in temperatures from 45-75 F (7-24 C). Direct seeding works best, about 4-6 weeks before the last average spring frost date. Plant Canton Pak Choi Chinese cabbage seeds 1/4" deep about 12" apart in rows about 12" apart; germination should take place in about 10 days. For a fall crop, direct sow in July.
Growing: Keep the soil evenly moist for the healthiest growth. If the sun gets too hot, Chinese cabbage tends to "bolt" or go to seed; in long periods of heat, some kind of shade may be helpful. Watch out for snails, as they will harm the plants.
Harvesting: Single leaves or the entire plant may be harvested, either at 28 days for the tender baby leaf stage or when a fully mature head at 50 days. For freshest taste, use within five days.
Seed Saving: In areas where the ground freezes over winter, it will be necessary to dig up the plant before the first heavy frost; cut off the top to 3" and store the roots in sand or sawdust over winter, and plant them again in the spring. In warmer climates, cover the plant thickly with mulch over winter. In the spring, allow the plant to flower and go to seed. When the long green pods turn brown, pick them individually. Pour boiling water over the Pak Choi seeds to kill any bacteria that may have formed, them let them completely dry. Remove the pods and store Canton Pak Choi Chinese cabbage seeds in a cool, dry place.

Everwilde Seeds
U started buying my seeds from Everwilde last spring. Summer production for everything I bought was phenomenal. I have to assume the winter crop seeds will delight as well!
Tastes good
Delivered on time as promised. Great packaging.
Happy with Purchase
Excellent seeds, beautifully packaged in mylar for freshness and extended storage. Lowest price too. Thanks!
I love your seeds, packaging and prices
The title says it all. I love your seeds, packaging and prices.
They are superior to so many places I have tried over my 40+yrs growing and eating from the garden, and selling excess at a local farmers market.
You carry some unusual seeds I have tried to find and failed elsewhere. That's how I found you.
You carry a high percentage of open pollinated seeds that helps me save seeds of what use most. But with drought, I am saving water instead of seeds and getting those seeds I love from you. And you get the seeds here fast. Wow! You got me hooked!
You are my #1 place to get nearly all my seeds. Carry Tetsukabuto Squash and you will be my only source!

Red organic okra
The okra is about 4 inches tall at this date. Looking forward to harvesting and eating.
Well packaged
I just received the seeds in Panama. They are well packaged. I do not know about
the germination % yet.
vigorous and heavy heads
This pak choi grows well for us and yields very well. The hefty, full size heads have a crisp white stalk, and the ones we harvested at a younger stage looked nice banded together for a more "baby" product.
Excellent and Easy
I've grown Pak Choi (& Baby Bok Choi) before but I had far better germination rates with these seeds. I think everyone of them germinated and I sowed most in the Florida dirt/sand - not the raised beds. It really is Amazing to me.
I saw some flower buds forming on some of them plants so harvested those today (a little more than 30 days).
